Tropical Nomad is hands down my favorite place to work in Canggu. It’s a bit newer to the Canggu coworking scene, which makes it less crowded than some of the other places.
The building and grounds are beautiful, with tons of palm trees, an open yard and cabanas. The indoor space is great as well, and they have delicious drink and food options. Monthly membership options start from 700,000 IDR ($48 USD), but you can start with a trial or day pass.
Dojo is practically an institution in Bali. As one of the original coworking and coliving spaces on the island, their Canggu location is a great place to base yourself.
Their membership packages include events and mixers, plus access to the pool, work hall, and quiet area. Monthly packages start at 700,000 IDR ($48 USD). Don’t want to splurge? Try a day pass or just use the cafe!
Not only does Zin Cafe roast their own coffee, but they also have a full menu of delicious food options. Wifi and water are free.
Best of all, Zin is completely free to use as a working space (though of course you should buy food or drinks). And if you prefer to work in silence, try the dedicated “work zone” away from the hustle and bustle of the main cafe.
Note: There is no air conditioning here, so make sure you sit by a fan!
Crate Cafe in Batu Balong is a great place to grab breakfast or lunch while you work (smoothie bowls anyone?). The coffee is excellent, but there is no air conditioning and power plugs are limited (solve this problem by going early!).
To be honest, I wouldn’t recommend working here long as it’s normally super crowded but it an amazing place to journal in the mornings and overlook the rice fields if you are an early riser.
Matra offers coworking and coliving accommodation for Canggu digital nomads. With comfortable seats, partial air conditioning and unlimited plugs, this is a great place to get some work done. Grab a spot upstairs or lounge by the pool!
Matra might not be as flashy as some of the other coworking spaces but it is a solid, cheaper and reliable option.
Peloton Supershop is a plant-based cafe and bicycle shop popular with Canggu digital nomads. Its comfortable seating (with air conditioning!), fast wifi and delicious menu make it the perfect spot to fit in your work week.
With lots of seating and plenty of power outlets, DuaTiga is a great place to station yourself for a few hours. They have an expansive menu of food options, delicious coffee, and a small air conditioned area on the main floor.
I used to come here almost every day for lunch and order off of their lunch menu where you pick each piece of your meal. For example, I would order sweat potato fries, grilled chicken and maybe some greens of sorts. But you can choose your plate.
Outpost Coworking is geared more towards serious entrepreneurs and those looking to hunker down and get work done. If you’re looking for high speed wifi, private offices, lockers and more extras, this could be a good fit for you. Their monthly memberships start at $49 USD.
I like the vibe of Outpost and they have a pretty pool, but the space overall is somewhat small and not my personal favorite compared to some other choices. Nevertheless, you are spoiled for choice in Bali so don’t get me wrong – Outpost is a great well known coworking space.
For those who can’t work without AC but don’t want to pay a monthly fee, take refuge in Sunny Cafe. With a full menu and friendly atmosphere, this is a great place to make new friends while you work. The coffee is good, the seats are comfy, and the whole place is air conditioned!
Located near Berawa beach, Ruko is a cozy coffee shop with comfy seats to spend a few hours on your laptop. The place is small, but it has some of the best wifi around and the food is next level! Air conditioning is an added bonus.
This list of where to work in Canggu only scratches the surface! There are tons of great options for you to explore. If you try somewhere new and think it should be added, send me a DM on Instagram!

hi, i'm Amanda
Three years ago, I chose to quit my corporate 9-to-5, sold all my belongings, and booked a one-way ticket to Thailand. I had no real plan—just a burning desire to see the world and a bone-deep certainty that there was more to life than my mind-numbing day job.
Since then I have started multiple business ventures including LLCo. which has scaled to over $1 million dollars in 2 years, and has helped hundreds of women from all over the world build profitable online businesses, defy expectations, and create a freedom lifestyle on their terms—no one else’s.
Every day you get to choose again as to how you will live your life - and every defining moment will come down to just that, a choice.
Here’s the thing - your past story, knowledge, and experiences may have shaped you to be where you are now, but they don’t have to define where you go next.
Hey there, I’m Amanda Kolbye. I’m on a mission to help female entrepreneurs acquire business tools & knowledge so they can create generational wealth and a life where you never think “is this it?” In our world, women become unstoppable. In our world, limitless is the only boundary we adhere to.
